Alaska Primary Election Results Winner: Joe Miller Beats Lisa Murkowski?

In a shocking upset, Joe Miller is the winner of the Alaska Senate primary if the current vote projection holds for the Republican primary election. With half of the precincts reporting, Miller holds a slight 51.8 to 48.2% lead over the GOP incumbent senator. The vote lead has been consistent during the early counting and even increased slightly as more precincts have been counted in Alaska. Primary Results Thread 8/24/2010

Folks, What are you hearing. What are the results in your area or via local media, Talk Radio, or Fox. Interesting tidbit on Hugh Hewitt tonight.. Rich Lowry of NRO has been speaking with his deep throat "obi wan" and they have been thinking out of the box and that 2012 may have conservatives with super majorities in both houses. Just on Fox in FLA in the primaries people voted for Rubio 2 to 1, (just like Michigan) the intensity is worry some for the Dems, Santorum noted the 2 to 1 ratio.

BIDEN: 'We're moving in the right direction'...

Vice President Biden today played attack dog for the White House, accusing Rep. John Boehner (R) of being "nostalgic" for the failed economic policies of the Bush administration. At an event where he was to unveil a report analyzing the impact of the Recovery Act, Biden broke from prepared remarks to react to the House minority leader's speech in Cleveland today. What was billed as a major economic address for Boehner offered no new policy other than to fire the White House economic team, Biden said.
